Celtic are refusing to sell Fraser Forster to Saints until their Champions League fate is secured, so say the Daily Mail.
The Scottish champions play the first leg of their qualifier, against Legia Warsaw, tomorrow – and they will wait until next week’s second leg is out of the way before making a decision on the keeper’s future.
Saints have already had one bid rejected for Forster, but are set to return with an improved offer.
As if there wasn’t enough already, The Times reports more bad news, saying that right-back Nathaniel Clyne has joined Jose Fone and Jack Cork in considering their futures at the club.
They also say Saints may turn their attention to Aston Villa’s Ron Vlaar, after Feyenoord centre—half Stefan de Vrij joined Lazio, while adding that they may also look at Norwichh midfielder Leroy Fer.
Elsewhere, troubled striker Dani Osvaldo is, according to the Mirror, in the final stages of agreeing a loan move to Inter Milan.
Obviously, there us also plenty on the possible departures of Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin to Spurs.
