ALRIGHT Benny - a course and distance winner at Plumpton two weeks previously - staged an encore at the Sussex track yesterday
With Jamie Moore taking over in the saddle from Tom O'Brien the 11-year-old chestnut scored a runaway success in the 2m4f handicap chase for Whitsbury trainer Paul Henderson.
Ground conditions - classed as good last month - were far different this time after heavy rain but Alright Benny revelled in the mud and jumped his four rivals silly from flag fall to come home by 22 lengths.
The former Irish point-to-pointer was giving Henderson his ninth victory of the National Hunt season.
