SAINTS shotstopper Fraser Forster has described the FA Cup a "fantastic competition" and wants his team to progress further.
Forster, who has kept ten clean sheets in the Premier league so far this season, said tomorrow's FA Cup third round replay with Ipswich Town will be a touch fixture, but one the team are commited to winning.
He said: "There are so many games. It's important to win.
“Ipswich is a massive game, the FA Cup is something special.
“It will be a very tough game going away but it’s one we will be fully committed in.
“We really dominated that game (first tie) and played some great football in the second half but couldn’t get that goal we needed.
“The FA cup’s traditionally such a big competition and it’s obviously one we want to do as well as we can in.
"Obviously we want to win every game we play in and it would be fantastic to keep that run going.
“It’s a fantastic competition, the further you can get in it the better. When you look back you can remember fantastic games and goals, so it’s obviously something we want to be apart of.”
