Joe Marchant scored a sensational hat-trick for England U20s against Italy tonight.
The 18 year-old centre, who has followed Mike Brown's path from Peter Symonds College to Harlequins, was man-of-the-match for his explosive performance in a 61-0 win against Italy in Plymouth.
He said: “It was pretty special to get three tries, but it was a real team effort. We knew that the conditions would be tricky but we fronted up and put in a good performance. Italy were very tough and we’ve got a few bruised bodies, but it’s great to get our first win of the campaign.”
Marchant scored on his England U20 debut against Wales last week and was named Sportsman of the Year at the Winchester & District Sports Awards on Thursday night.
