Ronald Koeman has reiterated his commitment to Saints following Holland’s failure to qualify for Euro 2016.
Koeman has made no secret of the fact he would like to manage his country’s national team one day, but insisted his focus is on Saints.
He said: “I’m the manager of Southampton and like to be the manager of Southampton.
“I like to stay after this season, there’s one more year on my contract. Maybe in the future, but it depends on a lot of things in Holland.”
Koeman added: “Because my name was mentioned in the past, if they don’t win or don’t qualify my name will be in the rumours. That’s normal ... that’s a job for the press.
“What I can do is tell everyone I am happy in Southampton.”
