SAINTS trio Maarten Stekelenburg, Jordy Clasie and Virgil van Dijk have been included in the provisional Netherlands squad for friendlies against Wales and Germany in the upcoming international break.

Clasie is included in the squad for the first time since June after regaining fitness after injury plagued the early part of his Saints career following his summer move from Feyenoord.

Meanwhile Stekelenburg, who got his first call up since 2012 in October, and Van Dijk are again called up to the Oranje team, which failed to qualify for Euro 2016 last month in disappointing fashion.

Robin van Persie and Manchester United’s Memphis Depay have both been dropped from Danny Blind’s squad.

Ex-Saint Eljero Elia, who is now playing for Feyenoord, has also been included in the squad.
