EX-EASTLEIGH and Winchester City striker Chris Flood bounced off the bench to earn Gosport Borough a 1-1 draw at Scott Bartlett's National League South strugglers Weston-super-Mare.

Borough had looked to be leaving empty-handed when the hosts seized the lead just after the hour-mark through Jacob Cane.

But Flood scored with his first touch, volleying home on 75 minutes to leave Gosport 11th.

With experienced former Truro goalkeeper Martin Rice leaving Borough on Friday, 18-year-old Lewis Watch was thrown into the fray.

And the teenage rookie didn't disappoint, pulling off several top-drawer saves on his full senior debut.

*Former Poole Town frontman Jordan Chiedozie scored twice against his old club as Concord Rangers climbed out of the bottom three with a 3-2 win.

The ex-AFC Bournemouth forward struck in the 22nd and 40th minutes to put Concord 2-0 up at half-time.

Poole hit back through Will Spetch and levelled through Cherries loanee Sam Surridge with 11 minutes to go.

But Tom Killick’s visitors were dealt a killer blow when Tony Stokes grabbed the Beachboys’ winner three minutes into stoppage time.
