GOSPORT Borough boss Alex Pike has had a busy time of it, adding a host of new names to his squad.
But yesterday's outcome was all too familiar for the Evo-Stik South Premier strugglers, soundly thrashed 5-0 at Banbury United.
Pike last week swooped for experienced midfielder Simeon Howell from Flackwell Heath and welcomed in young Portsmouth trio Matt Mayes, Jordan Brooks and Jack Chandler on loan.
They followed the arrival of goalkeeper Pat O’Flaherty, on loan from AFC Bournemouth, and ex-AFC Totton winger Jake Rawkins from Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
With one team to be relegated, Gosport remain four points adrift of fellow strugglers Dunstable Town at the foot of the table with three games in hand.
