FORMER Eastleigh striker Ben Wright has returned to Gosport Borough – on loan from Evo-Stik South Premier rivals Basingstoke Town.
Wright previously played for Gosport in the 2016/17 season, making 34 appearances and scoring ten goals.
He goes straight into the squad tonight as bottom-of-the-table Borough continue their desperate search for points at Bishops Stortford.
The Privett Park club have also announced that young Eastleigh defender Harvey Read has agreed a month’s loan extension at Borough.
Portsmouth FC duo Matt Mayes and Jordan Brookes will also be staying at the club on loan until the end of the season.
“The club are delighted to attain the players in our battle to beat the drop and would also like to thank all clubs who have helped Gosport so far in the player department,” said a GBFC statement.
