HAMPSHIRE Premier League outfit QK Southampton are seeking a new first-team manager following the departure of Nigel Green.
The club accepted Green’s resignation on Saturday evening following QK’s latest defeat, a 4-3 home reverse against fellow strugglers Clanfield.
They have banked just four points from 13 games so far this term with only Athletico Romsey – crushed 13-2 at Paulsgrove over the weekend – cushioning them from bottom spot in the Senior Division.
QK chairman Roy Kingdon confirmed: ''The club has accepted the resignation of first-team boss Nigel Green following the very poor start to the season.
“Nigel leaves with our thanks and our very best wishes.
“Assistant manager Jack Payne has kindly stepped in as caretaker manager until a replacement is found.
“We seek applications from suitably experienced managers who feel they can turn the club's fortunes around.”
Applications can be sent to Kingdon at royzeemush637@gmail.com.
Infinity remain top of the HPL pile after a 4-0 home win over Liphook United - Dan Phillips (3) and Callum Parker the scorers.
