SAINTS midfielder Stuart Armstrong has been named in Steve Clarke's first Scotland squad.
New manager Clarke replaced Alex McCleish in the role and signed a contract that takes him through to the end of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying stage.
Armstrong will be keen to get involved during next month's Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus and Belgium.
The former Celtic midfielder had an indifferent campaign at Saints after joining last summer.
He made 32 appearances, scoring four goals.
Scotland boss Clarke came under fire for picking four players from Kilmarnock, the club he left to take charge of the national team.
Clarke said: "People will look at it and probably think, 'he's just picking players from Kilmarnock for the sake of it'. It's not true. All the boys deserve to be there."
