SAINTS U23 defenders Alfie Jones and Tom O’Connor celebrated a clean sheet at Pompey on Saturday.
The pair played the full 90 minutes of their latest game of their loan spell with Gillingham, a goalless draw at Fratton Park.
Together they ensured Pompey failed to score at home for only the second time this season - the other occasion being Saints’ 4-0 win at Fratton Park last month.

Gills fans have been impressed with the loan pair.
can happily take that result, both teams had their moments, either side just couldn’t put it in the back of the onion bag, alfie jones, no words to describe him, absolute quality every game, feel like we missed Olly Lee today, Hanlan a tad quiet, Onto next week UTFG #Gills pic.twitter.com/qkzzCHIwRx

Jones, 22, is on a season-long loan with Steve Evans’ team, while O’Connor is with the Kent outfit until January.
But if they keep up their impressive form they may be recalled sooner.
