MOI Elyounoissi is staying at Celtic for another season.
The Norwegian international spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with the Scottish side, helping them achieve a ninth consecutive league title.
And both Saints and Celtic have come to an agreement that will see Elyounoussi spend the 2020/21 season north of the border.
The attack-minded player arrived at St Mary’s in 2018 for £16million as the man to replace Dusan Tadic.
However, Elyounoussi struggled to adapt to the Premier League under former boss Mark Hughes, with current manager Ralph Hasenhuttl also exploring other options.
The 25-year-old made 20 appearances for Celtic before their season was curtailed amid the coronavirus pandemic and scored seven times.
