SAINTS forward Che Adams has withdrawn from the Scotland squad for their upcoming trip to Turkey to rest after a busy week.
The 26-year-old scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season during the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.
It capped off seven days he described as ‘mental’ to the Daily Echo, with three matches and the birth of his first child in that time.
Scotland face Turkey in an international friendly on Wednesday, November 16, but Adams joins Kenny McLean and Nathan Patterson in withdrawing from the squad.
Adams is not carrying injury or any fitness concerns but is just resting ahead of rejoining the Saints group when Nathan Jones calls all non-international players back next week.
