SAINTS have revealed the date for Nathan Jones’s first home match as manager with Lincoln City visiting in the EFL Cup.
The St Mary’s side will play host to League One outfit Imps on Wednesday, December 21, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45PM.
The victors of the fourth-round clash will go into the final eight of the competition, with quarters, semi-finals and the Wembley final to come in 2023.
As well as Jones’s first home match in charge, it will be the return of the domestic season following the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar that same week.
The club have confirmed general admission tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders from Wednesday, November 23, with general sale beginning on Friday, December 2.
Jones watched on from the stands as Saints needed penalties to labour past League One opposition in Sheffield Wednesday in the third round last week.
