The Southampton International Boat Show 2024 is set to make waves with fresh changes including a new entrance and marina layout.

This year's entrance is now situated next to West Quay Showcase Cinema, a stone's throw from its previous location by the town's food court.

The change aims to immerse attendees into the boating world immediately upon arrival. In response to past attendees' feedback, the event is receiving a pivotal layout overhaul to emphasise a "zonal approach."

The revamped construction will display vessels according to type, simplifying the navigation for guests who wish to study and compare more than 300 impressive crafts.

The overhaul benefits visitors and exhibitors alike, clustering different boat categories, escalating the number of available docking spaces and expanding room for demonstrations.

Given an anticipated record-breaking year of boat trials, the boat show is also amplifying these practical opportunities by more than 20 per cent. This augmentation ensures visitors have ample chances to quite literally test the waters with their dream yacht or dinghy.

Mark Ring, head of events, British Marine operators of the Southampton International Boat Show said: "Our aim was to curate an environment that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our visitors and exhibitors.

"The new layout ensures that small power boats, sailboats, luxury power boats, multihulls, and demo boats each have their dedicated spaces, improving navigation and interaction within the show.
