GRAEME Murty could be in line for his first start in three months tonight.

The right back has endured a long spell on the sidelines after suffering knee ligament damage in the 2-1 Carling Cup defeat to Birmingham in August.

He made his first team return as a 58th-minute substitute in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Norwich.

Earlier in the week, Murty scored a screamer for the reserves against Bristol City, on his first outing in a Saints shirt since his injury.

Saints will assess his fitness today, before deciding whether to throw him in from the start for tonight’s visit to Hartlepool.
