THE SON of Libyan dictator Colonel Gadaffi wants to buy Portsmouth FC, it has been claimed.

Struggling Pompey have debts of £60m and have failed to pay their staff and players on three occasions this season.

Now, Saadi Gadaffi, who has played two games in Italy's Serie A is rumoured to be interested in the club which Saints will face in the FA Cup next month.

If any deal is to be done, it must be quick with only days left of the transfer window and Pompey faced with a winding-up order from HMRC.

Portsmouth are still subject to a transfer embargo for not settling football debts.
