SOUTHAMPTON European Tour golfer Richard Bland has fallen back to one-under-par in the Dubai Desert Classic.

Bland started the third day tied for 13th, on three-under, and looking to establish himself in the top ten ahead of tomorrow's final round.

However, a disastrous start at the Emirates Golf Club this morning resulted in the Stoneham golfer bogeying five of the first eight holes.

He did mount a bit of a comeback after that, getting back three of those dropped shots.

But his two-over-par score left him on a total of one-under for the championship and tied for 38th when he finished his round.
