HOT-SHOT Rickie Lambert will be marked by a 17-year-old making his first full start as Saints gun for promotion and a £90m Premier League jackpot against Coventry tomorrow.
Lambert, who has blasted 31 goals in all competitions this season, and in-form strike partner Billy Sharp – seven goals in his last seven games – will come up against rookie Jordan Willis.
The teenager, with only half an hour’s first team experience to his name, is set to be thrust into the spotlight for the injury-ravaged Sky Blues.
Coventry boss Andy Thorn has insisted his side will put up a real fight at St Mary’s, with Saints needing a win to secure a return to the Premier League.
But the gulf in knowledge between Lambert, who has terrorised far more experienced defenders this season, and Willis could not be more marked.
