ANDY Thorn insists his young Coventry charges will go out of the Championship fighting when they take on Saints.
The Sky Blues boss has been angered by various national football pundits who have suggested City will be a pushover for Saints.
And there is certainly a view among many that Saints couldn’t have picked a much easier fixture to get them over the line than against the side with the worst away record in the Football League.
But a defiant Thorn said: “We’re getting fed up of people saying ‘it’s only Coventry’ and dismissing us.
“That’s really starting to get on my nerves.
“When you hear people saying they are quite happy to be playing us and that sort of stuff, they obviously haven’t watched many of our games this season.
“If they think we are going to go there and lay down that is not going to be the case.
“If people think we’re just coming along to enjoy the party then they will be wrong."
