Nigel Adkins believes Saints will be inspired by their record St Mary’s support tomorrow.
The club have already announced that the sell-out match will boast the highest gate for a competitive game since they moved to the ground over a decade ago.
The fans that pack in will be desperate to see a comfortable Saints win against relegated Coventry that will ensure a prolonged Premier League promotion party.
And Adkins believes they have a big part to play.
“I get excited about every game and Saturday will be a special one,” he said.
“The supporters have got a role to play.
“There will be 32,000 people and the support will generate a lot of positive energy."
