Terry Paine believes Saints will march proudly back into the Premier League tomorrow.
The club’s all-time record appearance holder will be keeping in touch with the crucial game against Coventry from his home in South Africa.
But he is in little doubt about what the outcome will be.
“Our home form is great and, with the way we play there, we have nothing to worry about as far as that is concerned,” said Paine.
“There is always the potential for an element of surprise – a shot from 30 yards can fly in the top corner and put you under pressure – but you have got to keep the faith and realise what South-ampton have done this season and the way they have gone about their business to get in this position.
“Their approach has been exemplary and their football has been great.
“They will get what they deserve and secure the win.”
