Rickie Lambert has been named the Daily Echo Player of the Season for 2011/12.
The prolific striker goes into the final day promotion decider against Coventry having already broken the 30 goal barrier in all competitions.
He polled over half of the votes from fans, beating Kelvin Davis into second place and Adam Lallana coming third.
It is the second time in just three season at the club that Lambert has won the famous old trophy, a mark of the esteem in which he is held by Saints supporters.
Only Saints legend Matt Le Tissier has won it more times, having bagged a hat-trick of awards in his magnificent career.
