One Hill of a start for Eastleigh!

Daily Echo: Tom Jordan Tom Jordan

Richard Hill got off to a dream start as Eastleigh manager by guiding his new charges to a 4-2 home win over third-placed Maidenhead.

It ended a downward spiral of three consecutive defeats for the Spitfires in the Blue Square Bet South.

Having fallen behind to a 19th-minute Leon Solomon strike, Eastleigh hit back through Moses Ademola and Osei Sankofa only for Reece Tilson-Lascaris to level matters at 2-2 midway through the second half.

But the Spitfires finished the stronger with Tom Jordan and Glen Southam clinching all three points as a new era dawned at the Silverlake.
