Shoppers in Southampton got a shock as the city’s two leading professional boxers staged an impromptu training session in Guildhall Square.
King Davidson and Tony Hill were joined by trainer Wayne Batten for the open air workout as they promoted the launch of ticket sales for the upcoming show at Southampton Guildhall on Saturday, November 16.
A packed bill will see Davidson fight for the WBO International light middleweight title, which is now vacant after he was stripped of it having failed to defend it in over a year.
Hill will be taking another step towards a big title fight himself if he can come through unscathed in his second contest since stepping up to light heavyweight.
A raft of other local fighters will be on the bill, and the matchmaking could see intriguing clashes as some of them could fight each other.
