Golden Ring ABC pair Tommy Watson and Jimmy Cooper are preparing for the biggest day of their boxing careers as they ready themselves to represent their country for the first time.

Cooper and Watson have been selected to fight for England against Team GB in Basingstoke tomorrow.

Featherweight Cooper has a real test on his hands as he will be up against Commonwealth Games gold medallist Sean McGoldrick, a full-time member of Team GB who boxes out of St Joseph’s ABC in Wales.

Watson, who fights at light-welterweight, will be up against Sam McNess of the famous Repton ABC in Bethnal Green and has been in Team GB for four years and won four national titles.
