Hampshire captain Jimmy Adams scored an unbeaten 22 as he and Rahul Dravid led the MCC to a ten-wicket win against a Fly Emirates XI in Dubai.

Former India star Dravid hit 68 from only 43 balls as the MCC won the Emirates Airline t20 warm-up match.

The MCC will take on Sussex in tomorrow’s second semi-final Sussex, with the winners to play Lancashire or the Fly Emirates XI in the final.

Dravid will be unavailable when Adams and the rest of the MCC squad play county champions Warwickshire over four days in Abu Dhabi, starting this weekend.

Meanwhile, Saeed Ajmal, who will be playing or Hampshire in August, took 3-42 against South Africa in Durban – claiming the big wickets of AB De Villiers, David Miller and Ryan McLaren - as Pakistan won a thriller by three wickets to level the five-match series.
