Hampshire's Shahid Afridi lit up the World T20 with a sensational innings in Pakistan's opening group game.
The Pakistan captain, who has signed for Hampshrie for the entirety of this year's Natwest T20 Blast, blasted 49 from 19 balls - including four fours and four sixes - as his side made 201-5 against Bangladesh in Kolkata.
His first two sixes were launched in the first two overs of his innings; a Mashrafe Mortaza beamer was flicked over square leg and a length ball from Al-Amin Hossain driven over long-on.
Bangladesh's fastest bowler, Taskin Ahmed was lofted over extra cover and slow left-armer Shakib Al Hasan was hit back over his head.
Needing a single to make the fastest fifty by a Pakistan in T20 cricket, Afridi 'flamingo flicked' Taskin Ahmed to Mahmudullah at deep square leg.
Afridi then took wickets in his first two overs as Bangladesh stuttered from 44-1 to 58-3 in reply.
His first ball, a long hop, was pulled for six by Tamim Iqbal. But he bowled Sabbir Rahman four deliveries later and at the end of his next over another seam-up variation did for Iqbal, who pulled to Imad Wasim at deep square leg.
Afridi finished with 2-27 from his four overs as Pakistan won by 55 runs.
