Reece Topley was restricted to two overs as England lost their opening World T20 match by six wickets to the West Indies.
The Hampshire new boy dismissed Dwayne Bravo but did not get the chance to add to his 1-21 from two overs as Chris Gayle blitzed a remarkable 47-ball hundred - including 11 sixes.
Topley was taken off after conceding ten in two balls - Gayle's first runs - in the second over of the Windies' reply.
He had Bravo caught at deep mid-wicket when he returned to bowl the 13th over.
But by then the damage had been done.
Chasing 183, the Windies won with six wickets and 11 balls to spare.
