The Bluebird Care Hampshire Disability Cricket Project has been voted Best Sports Project 2011 at the National Lottery Awards.
It pipped the two other nominees to the prize at a televised ceremony earlier this evening.
The project provides training and competitive opportunities for people of all ages with a variety of learning, emotional and physical disabilities. It has overseen the coaching of more than 1,000 disabled players and three disability teams represent Hampshire in national competitions.
