Danny Briggs could not stop England Lions losing their one-day series to Bangladesh A this morning.
Hampshire batsman James Vince was left out of the team that suffered a six-wicket defeat in Sylhet.
Vince was replaced by Yorkshire’s Joe Root, who hit 81 as the Lions were bowled out for 208.
Hampshire slow left- armer Briggs was the most economical of the Lions bowlers, taking 1-30 from his eight overs.
But he could not stop Bangladesh reaching their target with 28 balls to spare, to take a 3-1 lead going into Wednesday’s final game in Sylhet.
The Lions conclude their tour with two Twenty20 internationals in Dhaka on Sunday and Monday.
