Hampshire Cricket today unveil a new Fans’ Player of the Month award, supported by Carling.

Voted for by supporters, it gives an opportunity to honour the players for excellent contributions on a monthly basis.

During the season four awards will be made (April / May, June, July & August) with the chosen player being given a crystal trophy.

One lucky voter (and their guest) will also be chosen at random to be guests of Carling at a Hampshire match at The Ageas Bowl where they will make the award presentation to their Player of the Month!

They will also receive four dozen bottles of Carling (all voters must be over the age of 18).

Fans should vote for their Player of the Month by sending an email to PlayerOfTheMonth@AgeasBowl.com with the FULL NAME, correctly spelt, of their nominated player in the subject line. Any nominations that do not fulfil these criteria may not be counted.

Closing date for the April / May Award is Thursday 31 May.

Votes will be counted and the presentation of the first award will be made at the Clydesdale Bank 40 match against the Scottish Saltires on Monday 4 June.
