Jones set for rare Championship appearance
Simon Jones is set to play his first LV County Championship game in more than a year after being included in Glamorgan's squad for their match against Derbyshire, starting tomorrow.
Jones last played a four-day game for Hampshire in April 2011.
But he has since been restricted to one-day and Twenty20 appearances after struggling to complete both innings of Championship matches.
He was loaned to Glamorgan during last year's Twenty20 tournament before returning at the end of the season.
