Ventnor face a wicket-keeping dilemma on the eve of their SEPL Premier Division visit to Burridge at Botley Road.
First choice Chris Ridley is tied up with professional accountancy examinations, so the versatile James Cheek, who bowled for Ventnor seconds at Shrewton last weekend, is being earmarked to don the gloves.
Ian Hilsum’s return is a plus for Ventnor, who like Burridge await a potential Southern Electric t20 Cup banana skin tie on Sunday.
Ventnor go to Paultons, while Burridge are away at Division 3 club Tichborne Park.
Burridge: Rick Ankers, Sean Terry, Shu Chowdhury, Derek Kenway, Alex Styles, James Richards, Geoff Dods, Jamie Rood, Greg Thew, Seth Jackson, Nick McMurray.
Ventnor: Holmes, Mills, George, Duggan, Friend, Westhorpe, Hilsum, Corbin, Cheek, H.Calloway, Wilson
