FORMER Southern Premier League star Travis Head blasted his highest t20 score to help Adelaide maintain their 100 per cent start to the Australian KFC Big Bash League.
The youngster. who only celebrated his 21st birthday before Christmas, struck an unbeaten 57 of 40 balls to help his side beat hosts Brisbane Heat by five wickets.
It was Adelaide’s fourth straight win, with their next game against Michael Carberry’s Perth Scorchers tomorrow.
Head scored 733 SEPL runs at 61.08 for Ventnor in 2013, ending the summer as the league’s top runscorer.
Head’s previous highest t20 score in five matches had been 22.
