The Southampton Evening Cricket League is mourning the loss of its treasurer.
Peter Hunt died last month, leaving a wife, son, daughter-in-law and two grand-daughters. He was 81 years old.
He was involved in local cricket for more than 60 years, as a player for Southern Electric CC and Caledonians CC and as the SECL’s Results & Fixtures Secretary and Treasurer for more than 20 years.
SECL secretary Ian Meyer said: “Peter was a very friendly and helpful man who will be sadly missed.
“Our thoughts go out to his family.”
