Hampshire's young cricketers are celebrating a win treble with a Development XI crushing the Royal Navy and the fledgling county sides beating Surrey at Under-15 and Under-16 levels.

The Development side beat the Navy by 44 runs after Havant's Harry Hovey (44) had led an assault, which saw Hampshire post 50 off the initial five overs.

With Tom Pregden weighing in with a quick-fire 47, Hampshire reached 180-5 before restricting the RN to 144.

Hampshire U16s slumped to 82-6 chasing down Surrey's 202 (Felix Organ 3-18), but Harry Gadd (67), aided by Tom Pregden and Bobby Dyer (both 36) turned things around and set up a three-wicket win.

Hampshire repeated the success at Under-15 level, where Alex Willoughby's 68, supported by Gabe Broadhurst (32) and South Wilts starlet Miles Kantolinia, with 36 not out, got their side past Surrey's 166 (Rafferty Hussey 4-34).
