EASTLEIGH’S second round FA Cup tie away to either Dagenham & Redbridge or Southport will feature on BBC One’s Final Score programme.

It means the game will be played on Sunday, December 7, kicking off at 2pm, with instant goal and highlight clips from that and seven other ties to be broadcast throughout the afternoon.

A club statement said: “Eastleigh FC is delighted to have been chosen for the broadcast as it will give the club significant exposure in their first ever game in the second round of the FA Cup.”

The Final Score programme, presented by Jason Mohammed, will also feature Scunthorpe v Worcester City, Wycombe Wanderers v York City or AFC Wimbledon, Barnsley v Chester, Bradford City v Dartford, Cheltenham Town v Dover Athletic, Bristol City v Basingstoke Town or AFC Telford and Portsmouth or Aldershot Town v Northampton Town or Rochdale.

All competing clubs will receive £12,500 from The FA with the winners of each tie receiving £27,000 in FA Cup prize money.

BBC’s Final Score coverage kicks off at 1.45pm.

The ties selected for full live TV coverage are: Hartlepool Utd v Blyth Spartans (Friday, December 5, 7.55pm, BBC2), Gateshead v Warrington (Sunday, December 7, 12 noon, BT Sport), Colchester Utd v Peterborough Utd (Sunday, December 7, 4.30pm, BT Sport).
