Former Eastleigh striker Chris Zebroski has been released on bail after appearing in court charged with assault and attempted robbery following a drunken brawl in Swindon last month.
The striker was remanded in custody and brought before Swindon magistrates today.
Zebroski, 28, had already been due to appear at Swindon Crown Court later this month for sentencing following a road rage incident.
He is now under bail conditions preventing him from entering Swindon until his next hearing on April 17.
An alcoholic, Zebroski is also under conditions not to enter any licenced premises in order to prevent further offending.
Zebroski, who currently plays for Sky Bet League 2 outfit Newport County, was charged with attempted robbery and assault with intent to rob yesterday.
Released by Swindon Town as a schoolboy, Zebroski scored six goals in as many games to help Eastleigh to the 2012/13 Conference South play-off final.
