NO sooner had ex-Eastleigh striker Ben Wright parted company with Havant & Waterlooville than he moved straight to their Vanarama National League South rivals Maidenhead United.
He is the Magpies' ninth arrival of the summer and it's a chance to link up again with his former Braintree Town boss Alan Devonshire who took over at York Road in May following the departure of the long-serving Johnson Hippolyte.
Basingstoke-born Wright, 26, began his career with his home town club before moving on to the likes of Peterborough United, Salisbury City and Crawley Town.
His goals proved crucial in getting Eastleigh over the line in the 2013/14 Conference South title race, but he left for Havant in December in search of regular first-team football.
