FANS gathered to roar on a Hampshire football team towards the finish line as the climax of the season approaches.

For Eastleigh FC's home showdown against Barrow AFC the Hampshire club's chairman Stewart Donald announced that entry would be free in an attempt to entice supporters.

And football fans lined up to take advantage and enjoy the game at Silverlake Stadium.

Earlier in the season the Spitfires had 2,884 people through the gate against Forest Green and the club hopes the game against Barrow will top 3,000.
