EASTLEIGH Juniors Under-14 held their annual player awards presentation evening with first teamer Joe Partington presenting the prizes.
During the 2015/16 season, parents and players have been fundraising. Initially, they wanted to raise funds to purchase their own defibrillator costing £1,200.
With the help of a local business, this figure was soon reached. But fund-raising kept on going, including the players packing bags at Tesco’s in Eastleigh earlier in the year.
Araffle raised an additional £190 to add to an already raised £750.
Stewart Amey from CRUK received a total donation of £940 from Partington as well as Nicki and Pete Gilbert.
