YOUNG Eastleigh duo Mark Childs and Jack Masterton have joined Gosport Borough on loan for the rest of the season.
Goalkeeper Childs and left-back/midfielder Masterton were in Borough’s starting line-up on Tuesday as they gained a precious National League South point in a 2-2 draw at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Both Borough goals were scored by Tony Lee, who recently parted company with the Spitfires.
Another fresh face in Alex Pike's new-look Gosport side was 18-year-old defender Ed Sanders, signed from Bognor Regis Town. Sanders spent time as a youngster with Stoke City, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth.
Borough – hovering just one place and two points above the relegation zone – entertain third-placed Dartford on Saturday.
