Barnsley (21) v Brighton (9) Barnsley defender Bobby Hassell could make his first appearance since January after recovering from a recent knee injury. Winger Matty Done has returned to training and is hoping to recover from the hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last five matches. Defenders Scott Golbourne (groin) and Rob Edwards (dead leg) are unlikely to be in contention.

Brighton will be without Gordon Greer and Ryan Harley. Skipper Greer is out with an abdominal injury so Lewis Dunk will keep his place at centre-half. Winger Harley is struggling with tendinitis and will not be risked. Striker Will Hoskins is back from his loan spell at Sheffield United early due to a hernia problem and defender Tommy Elphick remains a long-term absentee with an Achilles injury.

Youngsters Matt Parsons, Kyle De Silva, Antonio Pedroza, Stuart O'Keefe and Kwesi Appiah are set to be pressed into action again.

Cardiff have no new injury worries. Striker Rudy Gestede is a slight doubt with a hip injury. The Bluebirds will definitely be without midfielder Craig Conway who was was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after suffering ankle ligament damage. Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson could give youngsters Kgosi Nthle, Charlie Coulson and Peter Grant another chance to impress. Striker Billy Paynter is unlikely to feature (Achilles) so Ross McCormack, Luciano Becchio, Mikael Forssell and Ramon Nunez will be vying for the starting places up front.

Captain Richie Wellens (knee) and fellow midfielder Andy King (foot) are likely to miss out for Leicester. Martyn Waghorn continues his return from a hamstring problem with striker Darius Vassell likely to be involved after being sidelined since October with a knee injury. Forward Paul Gallagher is likely to remain on compassionate leave.

On-loan midfielder Scott Allan will be in the Portsmouth side after West Brom allowed him to complete the Championship season. Another loanee, striker Chris McGuire, returns after he was ineligible to face his employers Derby last weekend. Teenage forward Ashley Harris limped off during his full debut with cramp so he will be available. Defender Tal Ben Haim is still struggling with a calf injury.

Rookie Jordan Willis is set for his first Coventry start as centre-back Richard Keogh serves a one-match suspension. Manager Andy Thorn is already without defenders Cyrus Christie, Nathan Cameron, Richard Wood (all knee) and Hermann Hreidarsson (shoulder). On-loan striker Alex Nimely (hamstring) will again be assessed as will midfielder David Bell. Skipper Sammy Clingan (Achilles) will again play no part.

Hull manager Nick Barmby is hoping to add midfield pair Robert Koren and Tom Cairney to his squad. Koren was forced out of last weekend's win over Nottingham Forest after taking a knock. Cairney missed out against Forest with heavy bruising to his leg, but will also be back in contention. Skipper Jack Hobbs (knee), fellow defender Joe Dudgeon and striker Aaron McLean (both hamstring) remain sidelined.
