FORMER Saints defender Pele has signed for Blue Square Premier club Hayes & Yeading.
The 33-year-old moved to St Mary's in 2006, from Portuguese side Belenenses, in a £1m deal.
He made 44 appearances for the club, scoring once, before West Brom paid £1m for him in 2007.
Spells at Falkirk and MK Dons followed, before the former Cape Verde international joined Northwich Victoria. He then played for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Hednesford Town until his release last year.
He has joined Hayes & Yeading until the end of the season.
