Locks Heath took another huge step towards the Puma Engineering Hampshire League title last night.

They won 4-0 at Otterbourne with goals from Simon Jones, Ash Tattersall, Jordan Neal and Matt Rain to remain 14 points clear of AFC Stoneham, having played three games more.

Top scorer Dave Reading scored twice – including a late penalty – in Stoneham’s 3-1 home win over Fleetlands.

The visitors had taken a first half lead through Lee Chambers.

Darryl Phillips also netted for a Stoneham side who still have three games in hand on Heath.

Third placed Colden Common are now 21 points adrift of Heath with five games in hand after a 3-0 win at Liss last night.

Goals came from Alex White (2) and Liam Magee.

Lee New (2), Steve Bauck and Dan Turner scored as Hedge End won 4-1 at Paulsgrove.

Ed Lee, Kiri Portou and Lance Smith were on target as Portsmouth University won 3-0 at Liphook.
