EX-SAINTS youngster Corby Moore has joined Poole Town on a month-long loan from National League leaders Forest Green Rovers.

Concerned by a return of just three goals in as many league games, Dolphins boss Tom Killick feels the 21-year-old playmaker could give his promotion-chasing Southern Premier side a new dimension.

Moore progressed through the highly-rated youth system at Southampton and subsequently broke into the development squad where he played alongside the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Luke Shaw.

In March 2014, he penned a two-year deal at North American Soccer League side Indy Eleven – where ex-Brazil international Kleberson plied his trade – but left to join Forest Green in January this year, signing a new six-month contract in June.

Discussing the temporary recruit, Killick said: "I felt we needed an injection of fresh blood in our attacking options and he will give us that. We have perhaps not been as fluid as we would have liked going forward recently, so I hope that he can help.

"Forest Green are top of the National League so it's no disgrace that he is struggling to break into their team. I haven't seen him play personally but I have spoken to three or four people who all speak very positively about him.

"He was with Southampton for a long time and played at a good level in America, so he is not without experience and we're very pleased to have him."

Moore, whose parents live in Verwood, is available for Saturday's FA Cup second qualifying round visit to National League South outfit Hayes & Yeading.
