GOSPORT Borough halted their five-match losing streak against Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday, but a 0-0 National League South draw extended their goal drought to four games.
The high points of Borough's afternoon were an excellent display from on-loan Reading goalkeeper George Legg and a welcome return for ex-Saints midfielder Tom Dunford who retired in January due to work commitments.
Gosport, who had manager Alex Pike sent to the stand midway through the second half, host a rearranged league game against bottom club Basingstoke Town on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Basingstoke are still alive – just – after sharing a 2-2 Camrose draw with fellow strugglers Weston-super-Mare.
The north Hampshire club went 2-0 up through Chris Flood and Liam Enver-Marum, only to be pegged back by Ollie Barnes and a Scott Wilson penalty.
