Fans sign conditional agreement to buy Pompey

Fratton Park
Portsmouth's administrators have signed a conditional agreement to sell the League One club to the Pompey Supporters' Trust.
Trevor Birch, of administrators PKF, confirmed today they have signed an agreement with the PST which is subject to receiving permission to sell Fratton Park.
The move comes after the administrators withdrew preferred bidder status from Portpin, the largest creditor in the Portsmouth Football Club (2010) administration, more than three weeks ago and named PST as the preferred bidders.
''We can confirm that we have signed a sale agreement with the PST to acquire the business of Portsmouth Football Club,'' Birch said in a statement.
''Portpin has rejected the Trust's offer for Fratton Park, so the sale has to be conditional on receiving the Court's permission to sell the ground. We are therefore in the process of submitting an application to the Court.
''I'm sure every member of staff, every player and every supporter will join with me in wishing to see a speedy resolution of what has been a protracted administration.
''Everyone involved in the transaction has worked incredibly hard to get the deal to this stage and, although there is still much that needs to be done, today's announcement marks what is hopefully the beginning of the end of the process.''

The tiger (Chanrai) is wounded but now at his most dangerous.
Some silly skates think that all that needs to be done now is go to court, where a judge will order Chanrai to sell the ground at the price the PST have offered.
This will go on for a lot longer than the blue few think.

I believe they HAVE won more trophies but if you did some investigation you'll find that the 2 league titles were mainly due to the fact that they reaped the benefits of players from around the country being based in Fishville during the war. The most recent FA Cup win was purchased using daddy's credit card but then they couldn't be bothered paying the bill!
Anyway, the here and now should be the measure of the biggest club (whatever that is). If we use your logic then we could argue that Greece is the best country in the world and Liverpool the best football club. Now that's OBVIOUSLY right!

£61m is what's being reported.
does that include PKF's pound of flesh?
It's been reported as £61m for a long time - is there no interest being charged?
Is the club making enough money to at least break even each month? (with those gate numbers I doubt it)
remember - media reports are always spun to make things look more positive than they are. (or negative if you are the DE talking about Saints)
All joking and slating aside - until your club is on a proper sound financial footing with a decent ground and an owner who has the financial grounding to make it work I would be really nervous.
PKF have no interest in resolving this quickly.
BC has voiced some really serious concerns that should not be ignored regarding the PST - ok he might be biased, but what he is saying should be ringing alarm bells
The PST are doing this on a wing and a prayer - you lot are in for a bumpy ride IF it works.
